Recycling has increased 3.7 percentage points in the waste authority for Redbridge

The waste authority for Redbridge is East London Waste Authority. Back in 2015 East London Waste Authority recycled 24.1% of its waste, landfilled 28.4%, and incinerated 26.2%.

By 2023 incineration had increased by 14.6 percentage points to 40.8%.

Recycling increased over the same period by 3.7 percentage points to 27.7%. In 2023 0% of waste was landfilled.

There are currently 3 years left on a contract with Renewi. The total contract value is £1390.69m.
