Recycling has decreased 0.3 percentage points in the waste authority for Cumbria

Back in 2015 Cumbria County Council recycled 51.4% of its waste, landfilled 14.4%, and incinerated 19.6%.

By 2023 incineration had decreased by 19.4 percentage points to 0.2%.

Recycling decreased over the same period by 0.3 percentage points to 51.1%. In 2023 13.6% of waste was landfilled.
