Recycling has increased 10.2 percentage points in the waste authority for East Lothian

Back in 2014 East Lothian recycled 42.8% of its waste, landfilled 49.6%, and incinerated 7.6%.

By 2022 incineration had increased by 19.8 percentage points to 27.4%.

Recycling increased over the same period by 10.2 percentage points to 53%. In 2022 9.3% of waste was landfilled.
