Recycling has decreased 10.5 percentage points in the waste authority for City of London

Back in 2015 City of London recycled 32.9% of its waste, landfilled 0%, and incinerated 67%.

By 2023 incineration had increased by 8.1 percentage points to 75%.

Recycling decreased over the same period by 10.5 percentage points to 22.4%. In 2023 0% of waste was landfilled.

There are currently 3 years left on a contract with Cory Environmental Limited. The total contract value is £19.2m.
