Recycling has increased 1.1 percentage points in the waste authority for Hertfordshire

Back in 2015 Hertfordshire County Council recycled 48.7% of its waste, landfilled 26.1%, and incinerated 24.7%.

By 2023 incineration had increased by 12.8 percentage points to 37.5%.

Recycling increased over the same period by 1.1 percentage points to 49.8%. In 2023 10.6% of waste was landfilled.
