Recycling has decreased 5.5 percentage points in the waste authority for Isle of Wight

Back in 2015 Isle of Wight Council recycled 52% of its waste, landfilled 31.5%, and incinerated 16.4%.

By 2023 incineration had increased by 25.6 percentage points to 42%.

Recycling decreased over the same period by 5.5 percentage points to 46.5%. In 2023 1% of waste was landfilled.
